Wisdom Tooth Removal

Wisdom tooth removal is needed when third molars are impacted, painful, infected, or damaging nearby teeth. Not every wisdom tooth needs removal, so diagnosis matters.

Not every wisdom tooth needs to come out, so we start by looking properly at its position with an OPG X-ray. If removal is the right call we will explain why, and if it is better to simply keep an eye on it, we will tell you that too. When we do take one out, you will get clear, practical advice to keep pain and swelling down while you heal.

Early assessment helps avoid repeated pain episodes and protects the tooth next to the wisdom tooth.
